I recorded these pieces in my home studio.
In the summer of 2005 I purchased a high-quality classical guitar. After much practice I started to get pretty good. But the better I became the more that playing seemed like work instead of fun. I had a hard time staying motivated to even keep in practice because I knew that I would need to practice for hours a day and I didn't have the time, energy, or interest to do this. So these recordings are somewhat sloppy. Some day I will spend a month getting in shape and will re-record these as well as record the several dozen other pieces which I've memorized. I also composed a piece which I will record some day.
I recorded these with two input channels: Left channel -- from the output of the guitar pickup and electronics; Right channel -- with a condenser microphone. I used the following effects: compression, EQ, reverb. I did very little sound editing other than delete sections in which I made bad errors. I replayed these during the first take as soon as I noticed the errors.
