Jesus has adopted those of faith into His family as His children (Eph 1:5).

Jesus is merciful (Jude 21). Although we are unworthy, we look to Jesus to forgive us and to unite us to Himself.

Jesus is love (1 Tim 1:14). He is the source of our love.

Jesus desires that we be spiritually nourished by Him during communion (John 6:53).
