I wrote these series of articles (see menu sidebar to the left) as a Catholic for Catholics, but I no longer accept Catholic teaching as the authoritative source of truth.I have not attempted to align these articles with my current views.

On March 25, 2002 I converted to Catholicism after investigating Catholic teaching for six months. Before that I was a fundamentalist, evangelical Protestant, but in the final three years of that, I became more and more alienated as I studied the Bible and the writings of the Church Fathers and one by one rejected key Protestant teachings.

In these articles (see menu sidebar to the left) I describe what is right and good about Catholic teaching and I defend it against silly and mean arguments.

Read the story of my conversion to Catholicism.
